Version 7 HCA-IP

New to HCA 7 are a series of additional products designed to allow access to HCA over a network. Simply put, using these new components you can control HCA from anyplace at anytime using any network connected device. For example, a smart phone, pocket PC, Windows Media Center Edition, or over a local network.

I have been using and beta testing HCA since version 3. I have used most of the devices supported by HCA over the years and Version 7.0 is the best release yet. With the addition of Insteon support my home automation reliability has improved by orders of magnitude. I Wouldn't consider using anything else for my home control needs. Hey, I almost forgot! The new HCA-IP stuff is way cool! I can control my home from a smart phone!

These products, collectively know as HCA-IP are an exciting new addition to HCA and Home Automation. Developed and supported by a group of talented programmers and avid HCA users these new components connect HCA to the outside world.

	HCA-IP Server The core of HCA-IP, all clients require this component.
	HCA-IP Toolbar Client This is a handy compact Toolbar client for Microsoft Windows that site in the Notification Area of the windows desktop. Really great for accessing HCA from any computer on a local network
	HCA-IP Smart Phone Client The Smart Phone client is a light weight client designed for Windows Mobile / Pocket PC based smart phones.
	HCA-IP Pocket PC Client This client is slightly less light weight than the Smart Phone client and is designed for use with Pocket PC's running Windows CE or Microsoft Windows Mobile.
	HCA-IP Media Center Edition Client This client provides the user with an interface via Microsoft Windows Media Center Edition.
