Version 8.3 Build 54 1. Added a new button to the "PulseWorx Gateway" ribbon category. It is labeled "Integration Checker". This tool checks if all the files needed by the Control4, URC, and RTI integrations are saved in the Gateway. Export creates and saves those files to the Gateway. 2. Added a new check during PulseWorx Gateway connection for the Gateway internal clock has the correct time. If it is off by more than 5 seconds a popup message will point this out. 3. Added an option to the Gateway Clock dialog to have UPStart set the internal clock each time a connection is made. You do NOT want to enable this option if you access a Gateway remotely from a different time zone than where the Gateway resides. 4. In the PulseWorx Gateway network setup dialog - "Network Settings" button from the main interface configure dialog - you can now set the router IP address regardless of if you are using DHCP or static IP address for the Gateway. 5. Changes for the latest PulseWorx Gateway firmware internal diagnostics (4-byte counters implemented). 6. Added to the "Online Resources" ribbon category a "Help" panel that contains a button that takes you to the PCS website support page with instructions for getting started with Team Viewer. 7. Added to the right-click popup menu when in the main display pane to save the contents of the device list view to a CSV file. 8. Changed the "Edit Schedule" tool on the "PulseWorx Gateway" ribbon Category. If you are connected to the Gateway when using it, a check is made to see if the schedule saved in the Gateway is the same as what you are about to edit. 9. Added new version checking and a status bar panel and a popup when a new version available. 10. Corrected problem with connectLog.csv creation and network.dat reading. 11. For Gateway connections, UPStart adds a line to the ConnectLog.csv file in the UPStart documents area "Logs" folder. This file shows the connect time and the diagnostic counters. 12. For schedules to operate correctly when saved in the PulseWorx Gateway, an export of the design must also have been done. The "Save Schedule to Gateway" operation did a check for this, but the "Edit Schedule" operation didn't. Both now do this check. 13. Added additional Gateway diagnostics counter display. 14. Includes PulseWorx Gateway Firmware 2.9 and boot loader 1.4 15. Changed the Daylight Saving Time information saved in the PulseWorx Gateway to correctly handle the changed dates of when DST starts and ends. Version 8.3 Build 37 1. Added to the UPStart Options, "Repeaters and Transmission" tab, the ability to set the message repeat count that is used by the PulseWorx Gateway when it generates and sends a message on its own. For example, when sending a scene command for a schedule or rule. Version 8.3 Build 35 1. The "Receive Components" tab in device properties didn't operate correctly when the "scene clear" button was used. It left the scene selection dropdowns disabled and that was incorrect. Now fixed. It now suggests to use the FTP method documented in the PCS application note #302. 3. Added warning note when loading a file containing SAI devices and directs to application note #138 Version 8.3 Build 28 1. Added Schedule Verify operation. Version 8.3 Build 27 1. Improved the error message when connecting to the Gateway and it fails due to and incorrect username or password. 2. UPStart allows a label different from the device name when displayed by a mobile application. This provides a way for the name used by an installer to be replaced by a more user-friendly name when seen on a mobile device. Some users didn't realize this and changed the device name and then didn't see that change reflected in the mobile application. To make it more obvious that these two names can be separate, on the ID tab of the device properties, the remote access name is now also shown. 3. Changed the button names in the PulseWorx Gateway ribbon category to hopefully be clearer in their function. 4. Improved error messages throughtout the product. 5. Improved the PulseWorx Gateway schedule verify tool. 5. Added an Online Resources ribbon category. Version 8.3 Build 26 1. See PCS application note #134 for description. 4. Again changed PulseWorx Gateway network settings advanced configuration dialog in support of new Gateway HTTP facilities. See PCS application note #306. Version 8.3 Build 25 1. Changes to the PulseWorx Gateway Network settings configuration dialog. Version 8.3 Build 24 1. Corrected date display after Gateway time sync. While the date was set correctly, the display incorrectly reported the year. 2. Changed Gateway export algorithm due to sometimes very slow flash memory write. Now export sub-steps will be retried. Version 8.3 Build 23 1. Added new option on UPStart Operations options page. Open the application menu and then press the "UPStart Options" button. Select the "UPStart operations" tab. The new option is the last on that page and configures UPStart to not automatically connect to the UPB interface (if one is configured). You can always connect to the UPB interface from the Connect button in the main ribbon category. 2. Added support for PulseWorx Gateway auto time sync. Requires 1.19 or later firmware in the Gateway. 3. Added "Room Rename" right-click menu pick in the left-pane when on a room. This captures a changed room name and updates all devices in the room with the new name. Those devices then must be reprogrammed. 4. Added the ability to store small .UPB files in the PulseWorx Gateway memory and load them from there. Requires Gateway firmware 1.19 or later. 5. When exporting a design to a .UPE file, UPStart saves the path used for the last export and offers it as the default in the File-Save-As dialog. This will no longer happen if the last export was of a different file than the one currently loaded. Version 8.3 Build 21 1. Fixed problem in creating export file (.UPE) directly after creating a new file from the network. Version 8.3 Build 20 1. When adding a new device to a network, instead of suggesting the lowest unit id not in use, now the next id past the id of the device with the highest id is suggested. This decreases the chance of the new device getting assigned a unit id that is already in use should the file be out of date. 3. When adding a new device to a network, during the add process a check is first made to see if the id that the new device will be assigned is already in use by some device. This shouldn't happen but if the file is out of date this new check will save much trouble. 4. A button to clear the receive components table of a switch is now available on the Receive Components tab of a switch device. Version 8.3 Build 11 1. Updated for current Windows versions Version 8.3 Build 10 1. Updates for better integration with custom keypad engraver Version 8.3 Build 9 1. The display could be impossible to see with images on top of each other or UPStart would freeze. Now resolved. 2. A problem existed with Gateway export when devices in the same room used different capitalization for the room names. In UPStart a device with the room name "Dining" and another with the room name "dining" would be shown in the same display. The Gateway export wouldn't show both in the same room and the icons for either room could be incorrect. Now resolved. 3. The icon display didn't show the on/off state of HAI switches and modules. Now fixed. Version 8.1 Build 76 1. In the schedule verify operation that happens when you export to the Gateway any differences between the stored schedule and the schedule in the file are noted. The differences were supposed to be color coded and weren't. Now fixed. 2. If the schedule stored in the file had no entries then regardless of the schedule stored in the Gateway, no differences were reported. Now fixed. Version 8.1 Build 75 1. Updated the Gateway schedule save operation to detect if the user has not yet set the gateway location or done an export to the Gateway at least once. Export stores tables to the Gateway needed by schedule execution. Version 8.1 Build 73 1. Added export support to the Web Mountain RUC version 2 product. This is now in the application "Export" sub-menu. If UPStart is currently connected to the RUC then UPStart can export directly into that unit. Version 8.0 Build 53 1. Changes in support of Windows 10. 2. In some cases when UPStart received a link command from a UPB transmitter in the network it wouldn't update the visible state of any devices that received that scene. The state was updated internal to UPStart and if the display was refreshed the new state would show. Now the refresh is not required. 3. When UPStart is first started and with no file loaded the file save and file save-as menu operations were enabled. If a file save was performed at this time it would create a file with a network id of zero which is invalid. Now when UPStart is started and no file is loaded the file save and file save-as operations are disabled until a network is created. 4. If UPStart was disconnected and reconnected using the ribbon buttons the signal/noise meter in the status bar would stop working. Now the disconnect and reconnect will keep the signal meter working. 5. Added support for HAI product id 81. Version 8.0 Build 47 1. UPStart considered some HAI switches to be no dim capable but, while they are shipped from the factory in a non-dim configuration, they are dimmable if the dim option was set in the device properties. For the UPB Alliance installation a check is now made at startup to see if there is a more recent version of UPStart available for download. if there is then it reports that to the user. This can be disabled from UPStart Options on the startup tab. 3. Out of date firmware detection added for the PulseWorx Gateway. Version 8.0 Build 41 1. Gateway export has been updated to let you specify if a schedule should be stored during export. There are three options: a. Always store the schedule b. Never store the schedule c. Check if the schedule in the gateway is different than the schedule in the UPB file and ask if it should be stored or not Version 8.0 Build 38 1. A problem with the export file creation for the SAI product id 50, 51, 52 (UCQ keypads) was resolved. Version 8.0 Build 35/36/37 1. File export when done using the "Export on file save" option (See UPStart options) was not adding the new "Remote Access" data from the device properties and the room icon selections. Now changed to do that. 2. Changed the text in the PulseWorx Gateway user setup dialog for clarity. 3. When a SAI product id 26 (UCQ / UCQT Quad Output Module) or product id 36 (UCQTX Quad Output Module) were added offline, changes to the settings on the "Keypad Tx" tab were not captured after an edit. The transmit enables for the rockers/buttons wasn't being properly used when the export for the rockers and buttons was exported. 2. Gateway schedule entry creation wasn't correctly displaying newly created schedule entries that were a based off of a delta from sunrise or sunset. Now fixed. 3. For schedule entries that use sunrise/sunset plus/minus there was a mismatch between how UPStart stored the schedule and how the Gateway firmware interpreted it. This has been corrected. If you have a schedule that uses sun time entries you must change any entry that was based from sunrise or sunset as the plus and minus will have been switched from your intent. Then re-exported to the Gateway to function correctly. Version 8.0 Build 31/32 1. The SAI US22 device was exported incorrectly to the UPE file. Now resolved. 2. The SAI UCQT-40 device was exported incorrectly to the UPE file. Now resolved. Version 8.0 Build 30 1.
