The webinterface shows on the homepage
- controllers
- devices
- programs
- wireless
- displays
- modes
- schedules
- logs
- flags
- devices
- programs
- groups

Why do I see devices and programs twice?

The first occurrence of devices shows all my devices
The second occurrence of devices shows all devices and all controllers

Both occurrences of programs give a list of all programs.

Hi fwilde, hope you are enjoying using the web interface...

the index list in folder view has all the folders that have been described by the user listed first.

after the main user folders are listed than the "Standard HCA" folders are listed. these folders show the other aspects, such as scheduling and logs. there are also the folders programs, groups and devices. these hca folders contain all the programs in programs and all the devices in devices, etc. call it a one stop for all your objects of that kind.

since you can name the folders anything you want. you can make your own programs and devices folder as you have done, and place just those programs and devices you wish in those folders.

in folder view your folders always comes first and hcaweb adds the last hca standard folders on its own in case they are needed.

As a long time HCA user you started with HCA before we introduced folders. Back then HCA had 4 "folders": Devices, Programs, Groups, and Controllers. When we introduced folders we changed those fixed name folders into "real" folders that just happen to have the same names.

If you were to reorganize your design into other named folders, for example, kitchen, den, bedroom then the web interface would display

- kitchen
- den
- bedroom
- displays
- modes
- schedules
- logs
- flags
- devices
- programs
- groups

Click on "kitchen" and you would see all the programs, groups, and devices in that folder.

Clink on "devices" and you would see all your devices from any folder. Same sort of think for "programs" and "groups".

Hope this helps!
