We are looking for some HCA users who are using HCA, just not HCA 9 or HCA 8. If you still are using an older version of HCA please send email to TechSup@HCATech.com and let us know what version you are using. We would like to get a better understanding on what you are doing with HCA and why you have not upgraded. We may possibly be upgrading some selected sites - at no cost - to better understand the recent changes we made in HCA 8 and 9 and how they work with existing stable designs.
Thanks.

Hi Kimberly,
I'm still running HCA 7.1 (Build 83). As you know I did purchase the upgrade to 9.0 based on some of the new features. The reason that I hadn't upgraded to 8.0 was that most of the new features were for Insteon and I'm only using X10 at the moment. It's proven to be a realiable version, but I'll be taking a look at 9.0 shortly.
Kind regards,
Gary Thomas

I have been an HCA user since version 3. I upgraded regularly until version 7. Everything seemed to work fine. Thanks to the offer I received to upgrade to 9 at a great price, I did. Initially, I had to tweak a few things. Asked for help and found that all versions were still on my computer. So, after uninstalling all other versions, version 9 is doing ok. I'm still having one problem that I have contacted tech support for. Like one other person posted, I am not using Insteon at this time, so the need for anything else at the time was unnecessary. Thanks for the great offer to grab version 9.

Hi Kimberly,
Thomas says it all for me:
Hi Kimberly,
I'm still running HCA 7.1 (Build 83). As you know I did purchase the upgrade to 9.0 based on some of the new features. But in fact I've paid for V9 and have PayPal receipts, but haven't received download eail directions as yet.
Greetings!

Hi Mike.
First check any junk mail folders or systems you have. The download instructions look a lot like a "form letter" so they get taken in by some filters. If you still don't find it then send an email to Tech Support about not getting the download instructions.

Hi Kimberly,
I'm still using 7.1 (Build 83). I haven't upgraded to 8 or 9 yet due to the same responses as above (Significant changes were for Insteon support). I did purchase the upgrade to 9 recently, but can't seem to install it. I will send an e-mail. to Tech Support later.
If there is anything you need for testing on my system, I'm not in any hurry to upgrade to 9 yet. I have time to help you with what ever testing you need. I have versions to 6.3 backed up. I can run any of them on a test bed setup I have set aside for tinkering. I use it for testing/debugging and other software against or with HCA and various other softwares.
Thank you

Thanks.
Actually I am looking for some users of HCA V7 or earlier who have not upgraded or plan to upgrade. And they are hard to find.

I am currently using 6.3, on a SBS 2003 box with UPB system. The reason I have not upgraded is the system works and the cost of the "plus" version needed to operate UPB system.
