Hello,

First we would like to apologize for the spam PMs that were sent out yesterday. For some reason, the spammers really like this site and have been hitting it hard recently and have overcome a lot of the preventative measures that typically work on other sites. To prevent users from receiving the PM spam that happened yesterday we have adjusted account permissions. Newly created accounts are unable to send any PMs and will not be allowed until they make a couple of posts on the forum. Once they have a few posts, then the PM feature will be enabled for that user.

In the future, if you get a PM or see a message that appears bogus, please report it. Our forum script has a built in Report feature and to use it, simply click on the Report button (http://www.hcatech.com/forum/images/ca_serenity_HCA/buttons/report.gif). It is located in the in the upper right hand corner of Private Messages and on the lower left hand corner of forum posts. By using this feature you can then alert all of the forum staff about the message and we can address it as quickly as possible.
