Was shopping last night when I saw a new Dual-Band INSTEON device.... Here is a quick blurb about what they are:
The dual-band interface sends and receives both powerline and radio frequency (RF) INSTEON signals, so it doubles as an Access Point. This makes it ideal for new INSTEON installs and if have or plan to use an RF-only INSTEON-compatible remote (http://www.smarthome.com/_/Remotes_IR_Repeaters/10_Buttons/Handheld_Tabletop_Remotes/Handheld_Remotes/INSTEON/_/5/2Pz/1QT/2M7/23b/nav.aspx), thermostat (http://www.smarthome.com/_/Thermostats_HVAC_Controls/_/J/nav.aspx?Ntt=insteon+thermostat), motion sensor (http://www.smarthome.com/2420M/Wireless-INSTEON-Motion-Occupancy-Sensor/p.aspx) and contact sensor (http://www.smarthome.com/2421/TriggerLinc-INSTEON-Wireless-Open-Close-Sensor/p.aspx).I must say the local control features are pretty cool.

Looks like only 4 products listed right now:

LampLinc - INSTEON Plug-In Lamp Dimmer Module (Dual-Band), 2-Pin (http://www.smarthome.com/2457D2/LampLinc-INSTEON-Plug-In-Lamp-Dimmer-Module-Dual-Band-2-Pin/p.aspx)

Ya I saw those too and did my eyes light up? YES indeed. I suspected SH was getting to ready to do some changes because of some pricing changes I've seen on the dealers site. I think we're gonna want to support those guys cause I suspect that will be the direction SH starts to head.
