There are three issues identified with the version 10 release.
1. The HCA Server Help – About dialog incorrectly identifies it as a “Beta” release. This is not the case. The “Beta” tag was inadvertently left on.
2. In the HCA – Properties dialog on the Client-Server tab and several server configuration parameters. These are the ones in the “These parameters configure the server” group. When changing these parameters from a client they do not get communicated correctly to the server for storage in its registry. As a work-around, to change these parameters shutdown the Server and start HCA in stand-alone mode. Then change the parameters, shutdown stand-alone HCA, and restart the server.
The last issue isn’t an issue in the release but in the management of it. For registered users, if at any time you need to install HCA on computers you personally use, you can request from technical support a full install that will not look for previous versions. All you need do is ask.
