Been using HCA for 2 weeks now and been using the visual scheduler to control my lights, thermostats and sprinkler system. I am also retrieving weather data from the internet and have database populating with this data. I have played around with testing the weather data to get devices to run based on weather conditions. However, I cannot find a way to combine the weather testing with the visual scheduler.
Can someone give me some tips, tricks and guidance on how to setup my sprinkler to only run if the temp outside is above 32?
Thanks,
Doug

I created a Visual Program to test the day, time and temperature then turns on each zone with a delay in between and then turning off the last zone. This works great. Really enjoy the ease of the visual program.

Sounds like you figured it out. I have my irrigation test for rain and wind. I don't want to run the irrigation if it's rained over .25" in the last day as it's wasted. In addition, if the wind is blowing over 10mph, I don't want to water either as the wind just blows it all over the place.

ewelin - how do you get your weather data? From Metar - NOAA web site or do you have a weather station?

From my neighbors weather station. We actually hooked up a network between us so I just grab the weather data from his station.

I do the same thing but I use my own weather station. Prior to owning the weather station, I used METAR which worked just fine. My sprinkler VP tests for (_weather( OutsideTemp ) < 35.0) and if true, sends me an e-mail notification and does not run the sprinklers.
