Two issues have come up and I would like to discuss both.

First, a change was made so that icons on a display that has a picture background now show the text below them. This was a change from V8 where that text was optional. We are looking into this issue.

Second, there is some confusion on the email setup dialog. The test button sends a message to the person named in the "From" email address. The thinking is that the test message wants to go to you - the person named in the "From" address. Perhaps it should have been sent to the person named in the "To" address if there was one specified and if the "To" address was not filled in then sent to the "From" address. But that wasn't our thinking.

I just checked a couple other programs that I have that can send emails/SMS messages. The test function sends a message exactly as configured. So it sends it from the From address and it goes to the To address.

I just ran this test on mine (HCA->Properties->Visual Programs->Send Email element setup and when I pushed the test button, it indeed sent the message to the "From" person. The message has to and from the same.

This is a test email message sent from HCA

The To should be "Jim" and the from "HCA".

I also should mention that the email itself is working fine, so this appears to be a problem only with the test button.
